About Me
I have studied and experienced the benefits of meditation for over 23 years. When my children were at primary school, I wanted to support them and their friends through stressful examination periods and qualified as a children’s yoga teacher in 2005 to teach them yoga and relaxation. The children particularly enjoyed the relaxation at the end of the class and so I introduced meditation exercises to further reduce their stress levels and also to stimulate their imagination and creativity.Â
During my career as a lawyer in the City of London, I gained insight into the stressful lives that many City workers lead for example, working long hours with pressurised deadlines. I decided to leave a full time career in the City in 2009 to become a homeopath and holistic practitioner. I attended Meditation Teachers’ Training from 2010 to 2011 to gain a deeper insight into teaching meditation. After qualifying, I led small meditation groups at lunchtime for City workers. Since 2012, I have provided one to one and small group meditation sessions for adults and children and include meditation exercises in my treatment plan for clients of my homeopathic and holistic practice.
